Benefits From Focusing On One Focal Point At A Time: Marketing Made Simple
Mastering Your MarketingStop Overloading Yourself
Many of us have started working on one thing, to stop in the middle, and instantly start working on something else. Just imagine this scenario… You sit down to create a plan for your marketing campaign. After writing three sentences, you remember that you wanted to do some editing on that new book you’re working on. You switch over and attempt to work on your book. Thirty minutes later you’ve lost track of everything and now you’re doing laundry. I’m pretty sure we’re all guilty of doing this. You must stop overloading yourself in order to get anything done. Sit down, make a list of things that you need to get done, and complete one task at a time.
We need to apply this same strategy into our marketing. Think about one focal point that you would like to work on. Write it out and apply yourself to this one obstacle. There are several different ways you can use this same focal point in your marketing. You can create social media posts, a podcast, a short video, etc. Even if you create one five minute video, you can take that same video and turn it into a whole week of marketing. Take your time, doing different marketing methods each day, all revolving around the focal point of your choice. By doing this you will not get off track and you will not wind up doing laundry.
I’m sorry. I forgot.
Stop Depending on Your Memory
That’s right, our memory sucks. Technology has so many benefits, but it also has its downfalls. We have become dependent on our phones, tablets, laptops, etc., to do our remembering for us. That’s only for simple things that we’re trying to remember. For example; our contacts on our phones. Think back to a time where we remembered so many people’s telephone numbers. Not anymore. However, when it comes to important topics in our lives, we now have so much information to store in our mind that we end up forgetting most things whether we want to admit it or not. By focusing on one thing, we free up space in our mind to store all the information we need to for the one goal we need to accomplish.
Key to success

- How-to Guides and Tutorials
Go For One Big Goal.
Instead of focusing on many different small goals that are mostly meaningless, go for the big goal. My current goal is to further improve the quality of my given skills to improve in my career. Your chosen goal will more than likely be different from my chosen goal, but I want you to choose one BIG goal and stick with it. You will gain momentum and see results quickly. My one big goal DOESN’T require motivation. Your results will become your motivation. This will require all of your energy and focus.
